Barely Gone

You know that feeling when you leave your house for a few months and you come back to everything familiar but find that a strange, alien, otherness has crept in? That's what I feel like returning to blogging. But worry not. This is just me revving up my rusty blogging system after my self-imposed hiatus.

With my wedding over and done with (not that I found the whole thing an ordeal, mind you) and I have somehow settled in (barely, if we're going to be specific, as my entire truckload of clothes are still in their temporary homes), my focus is now back to primping. I want to bury the past few weeks of wearing jeans non-stop in the deepest recesses of my mind, so sick and tired I am of the utilitarian style I have been adapting as of late.

Anyhow, I'll be posting wedding photos soon. I won't inundate you readers with too many of it and I won't be turning this into a wedding blog but I'll be posting just enough to give you an idea on how I got hitched to my best friend/outfit photographer/personal assistant/partner in crime.

In the mean time, please make do with these photos my husby took from our last Baguio trip. I think the focal point of this outfit (in my eyes tho) is my outerwear. I went thrifting a couple of weeks back, looking for a vintage dress of sorts to wear for my wedding prep. I chanced upon this coat purely by kismet. I've been a fan of System coats since I started turning my Kdrama fashion addiction to business.

And these oxfords. Aren't they super cute? No? Am I the only one with a fringed oxfords addiction? ehe~

I'll be back with more stories, for sure. Hope that last photo of the unpalatable okonomiyaki is enough of a finishing touch!

  1. Aww "my husby"! You guys are the CUTEST! (Didn't I say I was going to be a clingy blogger friend?) Did you guys have your honeymoon already? It seems like you're back so soon (not that I mind).

PLEASE FLOOD THE BLOG WITH ALL YOUR WEDDING SHOTS! I would love to see ALL of it. Okay, I need to calm down because I'm starting to sound creepy...

  2. We postponed the honeymoon a bit Bivi. Hehe. So many relatives flew in from Canada and the US so we wanted to spend time with them first before they go back home. We're planning a March or April trip. I suppose you've seen wedding photos on my Facebook page already? Hehe. I don't mind the creepiness. I'm also creepy that way. Haha!

  4. You look so nice here. Younger. I like the color of your hair here, it's like it goes well with the background. You have a talented photographer then. Not everyone is good in taking picture just like my bf :(
