Changes

Has it really been over a month since my last post? I think this may be the longest time I haven't updated my blog. It's been so long that I had to struggle my way around blogger again. I have forgotten what goes where. lol.

So...changes. If you have read my last post, you probably know I'm making a big, life-altering change in my life soon. In January, actually, since I'm getting married. And while I'm anticipating the day I'll be with my love forever, it's also a change that scares me. I still live with my family (as is the norm in most Asian countries) and it will be a huge coping process for me not to have my dysfunctional brood around.

Another change I'm making is this blog. This blog is so dear to me but frankly, I don't know where I'm going to take it. I'm deciding whether to keep this blog or make a new one with Myk. The latter sounds like a great idea to me - fresh start and it represents the new life I'll be taking. I won't quit blogging though, that's for sure.

Anyway, about the outfit. One of the reasons why I haven't been posting as much these days is because I haven't been feeling how I look. It's not just the previous summer season. It's also about my skin, my weight in general. I know, so trivial, right? I just feel so unhealthy these days. Seeing this last set of photos made me realize how unhealthy I've gotten. So yeah, I guess I'll be adding another change in my life soon.

The dress is a vintage dress I chanced upon in the thrift store. It's made from a soft denim fabric that I love. When I first put it on, I immediately thought of vintage nurses. lol. I don't know. It's the soft blue and white combination, maybe? Myk said I look like a sailor girl. lol. Appropriate since I've rekindled my love for Sailor Moon, after the remake has been released. lol.

    1. Aww thanks Bivi! The first two episodes are already out. The release is pretty erratic though. I think new eps come out every other week only.

  3. Congratulations on your wedding date coming up a bit. I hope you have a good time! Don't fret! I've been married ten years and it is SO worth it! It takes a while to adjust to and the first year is usually the most difficult because of the adjustment, but just work as a team and you'll be fine! Your outfit is beautiful as always.
