Travel: Vigan 2013 Part 2

As promised here is the second part of my Vigan travel post. We went to Bantay Bell Tower, a church bell tower built in the 1500s. The 1500s! Can you imagine how old this infrastructure is? It withstood the killer quake that struck the northern part of our country in 1991. I was a kindergarten student at that time but I can still remember it vividly.

We climbed up to the second floor of the tower. Myk and the others climbed the rickety wooden stairs up to the third floor where the bell is.

The church next to it is just as old. No renovations were made according to the tour guide. Olden times architecture is impressive, I tell you. New buildings don't hold a candle to these ancient sites that are still as impressive as they are functional.

It ain't a trip to Vigan without visiting Baluarte and Chavit Singson's famous tigers! Look at that guy. He played with that tiger as if it's a mere kitten!

Changed into this full-skirted dress which has a built-in tulle petticoat. I felt like a princess. This dress is from Gap, by the way.

Vigan is more alive at night!

That's it for now. One more post and I'm done with my Vigan photodump. Hope you guys like this set. <3
