Dress: Vintage | Shoes: Fashion 71 | Bag: Lovelyshoes.net | Headwrap: flea market in Baguio
As you can see, I am unabashedly cramming 10+ photos of myself in one post, as repetitive as they might look. It's just that I love this dress and at the risk of sounding overly vain and self-absorbed, I love it on me.
It's a vintage piece I saw in the thrift store on an unplanned and unintentional thrifting spree. The owners placed it on a rack together with dresses for kids. How could anyone not see the beauty in its print? In its 50s silhouette? In its bib collar? But in hindsight, I'm glad nobody thought it was that beautiful because it landed on my too eager hands and I am now the ecstatic owner of it.
We shot these photos at Macho Temple, a local tourist spot that I only got to visit now. It was mercifully deserted so we took these photos in relative peace. I dislike it when people stare at you while you preen in front of the camera as if you're a rare creature they are seeing for the first time.
So, are you guys excited for the weekend? I know I am. :D Now I'm off to watch The Heirs (Lee Min Ho fan here) and finish reading The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.
