I don't listen to mainstream music anymore, at least not the kind that you might find dawdling in a hit chart for a few weeks until it fades away into irrelevance or a song that you might hear being played in the grocery while shopping for your stuff, although, if I may come clean, you might occasionally find me bursting into those mainstream songs in a momentary fit of boredom.
But I listen to a lot of indie music. And I might be a few years too late on this but I just discovered an indie band called Grouplove. If you know them and love their music too, you are officially cool in my book.
Their three songs, Betty's a Bombshell, Itchin' on a Photograph and Cruel and Beautiful World have been on repeat in my playlist for weeks now. Songs that transport me to an imaginary place of sunny summers and fills my heart with unexplained warmth always deserve a constant spot in my playlist.
These three songs inspired this look. I hope you feel the same things I felt while browsing these photos and listening to these three songs.
PS: My aunt gave me this tote she got from a Coca Cola agent. I used it to death this weekend.
