Myk and I must have spent half of dinner time today discussing Game of Thrones. And by discussing I mean letting him (he who hasn't read the books yet) in on some of the differences of the series and the books and me spilling some spoilers. The rest of our time was spent talking about how the food at Muchas Gracias is way tastier than the food at Halo Halo de Iloko, an inevitable conclusion and one you might expect after having eaten there three times in the past 7 days and sparked by a couple of girls barging in the resto and mistaking it for the latter, a fluke one can easily make because the place used to be Halo Halo de Iloko until they moved to the other side of the street.
I don't even know why I'm telling you this. I don't know anyone from around my town who avidly reads this blog and unless you guys actually fly to the Philippines and take the painstaking bus ride towards La Union, the gibberish above is entirely useless. I suppose this is my way of saving myself from whining about the weather which is pretty much summer in full throttle. If you have experienced summer in the tropics already, you know where I'm coming from.
Moving on, I've been meaning to try the cropped top trend for a long time now but don't really have the guts to bare a bit of midriff, especially in a town as conservative as where I live. So this is the closest thing I'll ever get to wearing cropped tops. I wish I have the flat tummy to go with it but just look at the care I did not give. hehe. Besides, I feel entirely justified because it is the middle of summer and it calls for a bit of skin-baring.
I hope you guys are all doing great. Keep smiling and keep those negative vibes at bay! <3
PS: Tweaked my blog's layout a little. Hope you like the small changes.
