Do you know what an effective pick-me-upper is? Watching The Little Rascals (1994), that's what. And it's not just about the fetching kids' fashion. Not even about the witty lines, bad puns and slapstick comedy, which, if I may add, never fail to make me dissolve in unladylike guffaws.
It's about the friendship and the forgiveness that comes so easy to these kids. They show an understanding of each other and the way they interact with one another that go beyond their years. Frankly, we adults can learn a thing or two from them.
Spanky, Alfalfa's meddlesome, staunch women-hater best bud. Adorable dimples. And he makes a cute ballerina too!
I feel a rush of childhood recklessness as I go through these photos. Nothing beats going back to your childhood interests to get rid of the stress and adult bug hovering around you.
On another note, I'm sharing an interview I did with Annika from The Pineneedle Collective. She came up with The Three Quick Questions interview, which i think is so cool. You can read her interview of me here.
I was also interviewed by Smashion a few weeks back. It just got published today. You can read it here.
Anyway, hope this post inspired you on a dreary and hectic Monday. :)
