I am almost completely bereft of photoshoot scruples now. But if it's any consolation, only a few kids yelling "hey girl!" were present to witness my excessive display of vanity (and maybe a few tricycle drivers). What I do for this blog. le sigh! :)
But I love this set just because of the lovely backdrop and the overcast skies and the mild wind. And in retrospect, I seem to have a penchant for taking photos with my umbrella in tow. I always carry an umbrella. Always. Rain or shine. Might as well put it to good use, eh?
On my sidebar, I mentioned something about documenting my domesticated days. I figured this is as good a time as any to do that so here goes...
Read this while waiting for the bus to finish loading on my way to Myk's place. While I dislike long travels, short ones are usually therapeutic for me. I like opening the windows of an un-airconditioned bus and just feel the wind. This is why I won't make a good driver. My consciousness tends to drift in various directions. I space out a lot.
But me spacing out is totally justified. Province air forces you to relax. The large expanses of agricultural lands with cows quietly grazing puts you in stress-free mood. Did you know that our province was recently given recognition for having the longest lifespan? Of citizens, I mean.
Myk and I were searching for iced gems at the grocery yesterday but couldn't find it. Finally we found it today at a local grocery at Myk's place! My siblings and I used to eat bags of these when were kids. It tastes like my childhood. Nostalgic.
I made chili sticks again! The last time I made it, Myk wasn't around to taste it so we decided to make it today. It's really difficult to gauge the hotness level of these chilis. Some are hot, some aren't. These are mildly hot, with an initial zing when you first bite into it. Good thing we had pasta to dull the spiciness a little.
Myk's home harbors a gang of cats. lol! I fed them left-over cheese.
Some outtakes! They're the first set we took. But I figured the lakeside area makes a better backdrop than a cluster of banana trees. lol! But i do love the green grass. If only I wasn't in chronic danger of stepping on cow dung. keke~ But i like it here. It's a sleepy town, with lots of picturesque places. I'm a sleepy person so I guess I fit right in. hoho~ Adopt me!
Well that was a long post. And a bit redundant too, I guess. But hope you got as far as this part. Thank you for reading! <3 Will definitely check out all your blogs tomorrow. You guys are not forgotten. :)
