Two weeks ago, I bought a flat screen TV for the parentals on a whim. It was the money I was saving to get a new iPhone. But I figured nah, just get the parentals the flat screen TV. They'd be happier with it than I'd be with an iPhone.
It's funny how as you get older, your priorities change. The things that mattered so much to you before no longer seem so important. Funny how your source of happiness redirects itself into a path more staid.
Forgive me for being overly sentimental. It's probably brought on by watching History Channel's Jesus: The Lost 40 Days. Or maybe I'm really just sentimental to the core.

Donned my favorite polka dot skirt. I figured it needs a touch of floral, hence the drawstring sling bag I thrifted a couple of months ago. I feel so girly today.
